1626-40. Volume headed Cambridgeshire Militia 1626-1640 [Harl. MSS 4014]. Mostly copies of letters and general instructions from the Earl of Suffolk, Lord Lieutenant, on behalf of the KIng to his deputies but at F.52: Copies of Indenture of 250 soldiers by parishes in 1639. Same for 50 soldiers in 1640
